I don't know about v3.1.2, but v3.0 is working fine here under Mountain Lion though.

Yes, canon MP Navigator Ex is working fine with 10.7 Lion. I don't knowhow about Mountain Lion because I didn't do this upgrade yet. But on Lion the canon software is working fine

According to the Canon USA website, they are going to support most of the scanners, including all in the MP and MX categories. They don't yet have the "signatures" and you may get an error when you first upgrade, but there are instructions on a work-around. For details, see

If you click on the site that is next to the MP Navigator on the list, it takes you to a French page, so it was useless for me. Be sure you go to Canon USA.

The is no specific version for OS X 10.8 but CanoScan 8800F seems to be compatible with ML : http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/standard_display/mac-osx, see scanners

I'm about to update to Lion but this app is crucial to me. The user that added this entry said it's working fine, but to be completely sure, can anyone scan a document with their Canon scanner and the MP Navigator EX software to confirm that it communicates successfully with the hardware after updating to Mac OS X 10.7?
