Transmit is an excellent FTP (file transfer protocol), SFTP, S3 (Amazon.com file hosting) and iDisk/WebDAV client that allows you to upload, download, and delete files over the internet. With the most Mac-like interface available, Transmit makes FTP as simple, fun, and easy as it can possibly be.

Anyone know if 3.7 still works under Mountain Lion?

After installing 10.8, it moved a file called transmitdiskfs.kext in the incompatible software folder. Don't know what is this for and Transmit is working smoothly.

Looks to be working fine for me after Mountain Lion upgrade. Great product!

I've been using Transmit happily for a few years but it is causing all sorts of problems under Mountain Lion. Remote mounted volumes behave erratically. Opening remote files sometimes results in the loss of some or all of a file. App regularly hangs.

Agreed — massive problems under Mountain Lion. No bueno.

The finder integration does not work for me. FTP-Server is mounted but nor files or folders are listed.

That is odd. Finder integration with Transmit 4.1.5 works perfectly under Lion GM.

I'm also interested in 3.7 compatibility. If anyone knows, please speak up. Not really wanting to pay to upgrade.

I'm seeing Transmit crash Lion across various different machines. At first I thought this was on my machine only, but happen on different machines too (Mac Pro, Macbook Pro, …). Seems to happen more on the FTP setup screens. Any fixes out?

Transmit seems to crash Lion regularly when using SFTP in particular.
