I had the same problem as Linda. Just go to the Macware Support site: http://www.macwareinc.com/support/index.html.

Register and submit a ticket (I suggest using the site in Firefox as both Chrome and Safari gave me trouble). They were prompt in answering my problem and I was given a link to download the latest version.

WARNING: Be sure to back up everything for a re-import as this is not an update but a reinstall. Also note that this new version is very different.

I have also an issue with downloading MacFreelance from the APP Store. I can't seem to get the preference option to appear in wizard installation. I guess there is really something wrong with this new version.

I'm using Version 2.24 which is the latest update the the retail boxed version (Version 3.x is only available in the App Store).
I have experienced no issues at all when upgrading fromSnow Leopard to Lion. Mac Freelance still works perfectly after the OS upgrade.

Had to reinstall this from my original disk so I'm at 2.05 on Lion on a new MacAir and I can't download the updates - tells me there is an archive problem and to "try again later"
