Notes

Snard 2.6.4 fails to see about 1/2 of the sub-directory links (sub-directories and symlinks), i.e., items under a top level added directory.

A bug report was sent to the developer on 2012-Oct-25. The developer said he would look into the issue on 2012-Oct-28. Stay tuned!

Even though the developer said updating snard would go on his TODO list back in 2012-Oct, nothing has happened as of 2013-Feb-22. I pinged the developer 3 times between then and now, asking if I could test an update and received no reply.

I'm sorry to say buy this is an abandoned product that, while it works fine up thru OS X 10.7.x will not work on OS X 10.8 or later.

I hope they plan to support snard under Lion. It is a very useful launcher.

It might work as is. Snard worked without requiring an update over the 10.5 to 10.6 transition.

I tested all our apps under Lion and didn't see any issues. So you can safely assume all of our apps are Lion compatible

Het opstarten van de Mac wordt enorm vertraagd door Snard, meestal zelfs een strandbal. Maar eenmaal opgestart werkt alles goed.
