Having problems with the pin wheel (beach ball) coming up (a lot) when using pixelmator.

Pixelmator 2.1 is not as compatible with OSX 10.8 as it was advertized. It's very buggy and extremely slow. Crashes are common. Support for the app is limited mostly to users and the occasional member of the support team. Please visit:

Read the questions and bugs sections before buying or upgrading to 2.1!
If your still running Lion OSX 10.7, you stand a much better chance of Pixelmator 2.1 functioning properly.
Wait for the Pixelmator team to issue an update to 2.1!

Today, the Pixelmator team released version 1.6.6, which runs great on Mac OS X 10.7 Lion.

Pixelmator works again! 1.6.7 fixed the bug in 1.6.6 and Pixelmator is in the Mac App Store again!
