I have Late 2008 15'' Macbook Pro.
I tried to install Kaspersky 3 times and all failed.
"You need to restart your macbook" screen shows up then it would go into infinite loop of spinning wheels and rebooting.
In addition, if you are still trying at least have lion on DVD or USB, because when you are stuck in that loop of rebooting, you wont even see your home screen.
Luckily I had mine on USB and I was able to reinstall lion.
I am not sure if kaspersky is not compatible with lion or if it is just this particular macbook model, but it definitely did not work for me and it failed miserably all three times.

My macbook pro crashed after installation with Kaspersky anti Virus 2011 and required a formatting of my hard disc.
