It doesn't require installation or specific config. It works behind gateways NAT without port mapping as well as within one LAN.

Posts plugging Ammyy's Windows-only software appear in every remote control, remote desktop and VNC entries. Only a stupid spammer would try to promote Windows programs in a Mac-only site…
