I contacted the Iris website. Here is their reply.
We have tested the software without issues on Lion. In addition we have not received any user reports of problems.

Cardiris 3.6 does not work on Lion, but a free update to Cardiris 4.0 is available here: http://www.irislink.com/c2-1916-189/Cardiris-Patch-Center.aspx

I've already attempted to download the patch. An error message appears saying:
"An error occurred that prevented the installation from completing"
Now I'm trying to open CardIris and this message appears:
"You can't open the application CardIris for ScanSnap because PowerPC appliactions are no longer supported."
I want to see if I can uninstall or delete the CardIris program so I can reinstall the whole application.
Help please!
