The upgrade to ML messed up the SSL certificates of the mail shield and after many attempts, including installing the certificate manually in the keychain, the mail shield still does not work.

I had very odd network symptoms while I had it installed after I upgraded. I could ping and resolve names but not surf or use apps…. it was Avast. After I uninstalled it, my network immediately began working.
