Wrote to Telestream regarding Mountain Lion and got this response:

HI Allison,
Wirecast does not currently support Mountain Lion.
We are aiming for support in the next release, which is scheduled for some time in August.

oddly it does work for me, even though it's not supposed to. I didn't try everything but the basics worked. I'll still wait till the developers say it works.

I've used Wirecast in Lion but it only worked for 20 minutes, when tryed to change camera settings the whole system crashed, I'm wating for Wirecast 4.1

Wirecast Version 4.1 and Desktop Presenter 2.0 were released July 27, 2011. Lion compatible now.
