Anti-virus for Mac - Free for non-commercial use. Works well as antivirus in Mac OS Lion 10.7.x, but can cause severe problems with overheating due to "Intercheck" process, and use of real-time scanning can really slow down your computer.

Please note that version 7.x of Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac has not been updated to support Mountain Lion. Customers should ensure they are running version 8.0.6 or higher to get Mountain Lion support
Version 8.0.6, Icon does not display in menu bar on my iMac, 2.7GHz Intel Core i5 .
Restarting my iMac corrected the problem with the icon not being displayed in the menu bar. Works fine.
Icon in menu bar is not displaying again, could be a minor bug.
