UPDATE 8/24/2012:
Mountain Lion works with Safe Eyes Version 3.9.188. It is not supported by the company, but it does work. In fact, it seems to be more stable than it was under Lion. Under Lion, it often caused kernel panic, but in Mountain Lion, there are no issues so far.

Response from Nik Green SafeEyes Technical Support Supervisor:

The release of OSX 10.8 occurred earlier than we expected and we are not ready to ensure compatibility. We are still in the testing phase for our current version of Safe Eyes with Mountain Lion. If you upgrade your Apple operating system to Mountain Lion, or install Safe Eyes on Mountain Lion, you may experience stability issues. We are working diligently to release an update that is fully compatible with Lion. Unfortunately, I do not have an estimated time of when this update will be available. We will send out an email once a fully compatible update ready to be released.

Downloading the latest version of Safe Eyes now works well with Lion. In fact, I believe that compatibility is better now than it was under Leopard and Snow Leopard.

I'm confused as to their recommendation. I'm running Safe Eyes on 10.8 now and it seems to be more stable than it was on Lion.

I too am confused. I am running 3.9x of Safe Eyes and every time I put the computer to sleep or plug it into power or disconnect it from power the app crashes. I am always restarting it. Does instability mean this? or does it mean it doesn't work at all?

I installed safe eyes on mountian lion and it definitely has stability issues. Safe eyes will crash periodically. And and times will not allow me to log in. Hopefully you will be able to release an update fixing this soon.

I got an email from Safe Eyes that there is a new version available for Mountian Lion 10.8. Unfortunately, there was no link provided in that email and since then, no update is to be found on the site of Safe Eyes…..

V3.7 and V3.7.007 trigger kernel panic; system becomes unstable and will shut down. Problem acknowledged by Internet Safety support and a fix is promised.
