Probably the most arrogant software developers on the planet. On contacting them in regard to OS X 10.7/10.8 compatibility, they simply told us that it wont work under 10.7 or 10.8 and that we should consider buying a PC. Always found them to be arrogant and unresponsive but this latest attitude takes the biscuit. Its time they sold it onwards to someone who appreciates their customers. I'd love to hear from anyone who has managed to get 8.5v2 working in 10.7 or 10.8. zn.oc.ecivrescam|regluof#zn.oc.ecivrescam|regluof

Further research over the past 24 hours has shown me that a demo version (build 1655) works in demo mode. I have tried installing version 1440, version 1526 and 1655 using our legal USB dongle key and password and the error still comes up that it can't see the hardware key. The developers sent me a link http://www.safenet-inc.com/support_and_downloads/Download_Drivers/Sentinel_Drivers/ to download version 7.5.2 driver which appears to have a creation date of September 5 but installing this sentinel driver still comes up with the same message. It does appear (in fairness) that they seem to have got the wake-up call and may be doing something about the problem. The issue is 100% centered around the hardware key, proven by the fact that build 1655 runs well on 10.8.1. E-Mail to zn.oc.ecivrescam|regluof#zn.oc.ecivrescam|regluof appreciated with feedback

I have Build#:1440 (8.5v2), and it works on OSX 10.7(Lion). The only problem is the production manager. You need to exit the production manager every time you need to send a new job. If you have left it open from a previous job, nothing will happen when you try to send a new one.

Also, the key was not working when we got it in. But the manufacturer had the driver available on their website for download, then it worked fine.

We just got a new computer in running 10.8, and flexisign is not working. we are currently trying to find a way to run it. If you are considering upgrading, i suggest you do not.

UPDATE: We are now running on 10.8 (Mountain Lion)

I think you may have installed the wrong driver. When you go to http://www.safenet-inc.com/support_and_downloads/Download_Drivers/Sentinel_Drivers/, download version 1.3.1. I know the website says it is only meant to work up to 10.6, but we have successfully installed this driver on 10.7, and now 10.8. it is the correct driver for the key, and should work for your computer.
