Program only works when Lion booted in 32-bit mode. If the program was originally installed under 64-bit mode under Snow Leopard, uninstall it then reinstall under 32-bit mode in Lion. Program will work properly in that mode but under 64-bit mode cannot communicate with the camera:
"Failed to communicate with the camera. (0x42000)"
