Can't switch languages with the "Set Language" submenu in Mountain Lion.

I upgraded to Apple OS 10.7, and discovered that I lost the interactive feature of Spell Catcher 10.4. I reported the problem to rainmaker; and, after trying several suggested ways to solve the interactive (or input method problem), I'm still unable to get Spell Catcher 10.4 to interact with other app files, including MS Word, Preview, Mail, etc.
