Doesn't play nice with Notification Center - the toolbar doesn't move out of the way with the rest of the app.

Open/Save/Export dialog boxes don't retain their configuration and size etc. and often the sidebars are rendered incorrectly.

Moving a text box in Illustrator causes the mouse to stick and the program to crash.

I have recently upgraded to Mountain Lion, and every time I try to move a text box in Illustrator, the mouse sticks (i.e. won't let go of the text box) and the program freezes until Force Quit. I'm using MacBook Pro (mid-2009), 2.66Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo.

To run CS5 on Mountain Lion (ML) without any trouble: Do a clean install of Snow Leopard (or Lion), install CS5, then upgrade to ML !

Selecting text (type) doesn't color it blue. In other words: you can't see what you have selected.

Using the colorpicker on nothing (just the canvas) causes crashes here.

What about the Web Gallery and Export to Flash features? I saw they were PowerPC apps.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Illustrator 15.1.0 issue under OS X Lion (10.7)
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Since updating to OS X Lion, Illustrator behaves abnormal:

If i ad a border around a shape, Illustrator changes the the shape (size) itself.

Under OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.8), with the same Illustrator-Version 15.1.0 running on a another Mac, it works just fine.

P.S. I also reported this bug to Adobe and Apple

Crashes when using a file stored on TimeCapsule, did not do this with Snow Leopard. Is OK when using a locally stored file.

sorry, not working under 10.7.1 :-(

not working at all under 10.7.2. Every file Illustrator saves is corrupt, and when trying to open it says "Can't Open the Illustration. Could not complete the requested operation."

AI 15.0.2 works for me on 10.7.2. I am using a mac pro and a macbook pro. Just upgraded to Lion, not clean installs, either. So must be other plugins that are not working for some people.

I should clarify my comment above.

I was using Illustrator 15.1 (the version that comes in the CS5.5 Suite), and it does not work at all, even with a clean install with NO plugins.

I'm a bit late in this discussion but I'm about to purchase Adobe Illustrator CS5 and want to check the performance with OS X 10.7.2 - reading above it appears that there maybe some problems with Lion. Just want to check before I purchase.

has anyone tried removing the 'Analyze Documents.app' and then running AI CS5

[ grifftter]grifftterAnonymous 23 Jan 2012 10:50

To clarify it lives in the scripting - sample scripts applescripts - analyze documents…

shows up as a PowerPC app in system profiler
