Working good till the 4x4 setting. If your select 6x6 the apps won´t resize to the selected area´s anymore.

This makes sense, an app window isn't designed to fit into an individual square of the 6x6 grid, you need to select multiple. Most windows have a minimum size that will prevent them from being resized smaller, even if you try to resize them manually.
