Classic Menu is working fine for me in Lion. The only hiccup I've had so far is having to drag menu items into the open Classic Menu window, instead of being to able to add them via the "Add alias…" Was using Fruit Menu for many a year. Added Shut Down, Sleep etc using Applescripts saved as Applications (see code given under comments in Fruit Menu section)

Only problem with this is with Lion, as when you enter full screen the skin is in the top left corner of your window >:(
