Using Mountain Lion 10.8, any operation involving dragging Layers in Layers panel—to Trash, to re-order, copy Layer Style via option-click/drag, etc—and any unintentional slip of the stylus on the graphics tablet in the Layers Palette will cause Photoshop to quit immediately.
Using Save As causes intermittent crashes, particularly when changing large Photoshop file format to .png.
The files have been saved, however.
