I wrote to Mr. Katsura and received this email back:
i just tested Guitar Tuner on MacBook Pro with Mountain Lion, and the tuner itself works fine.
there is a minor cosmetic issue on the tuning progress indicator but it shouldn't be an issue. i'll fix it in the next update.
