It works fine, if you installed it on snow leopard and upgraded to lion, but if you do a clean install of lion, the vector works installer won't run because it is a ppc app…

Very important point! if you upgrade your OS with your apps already installed generally they work, as is the case with VWorks 2008 for me (for both 10.7 & 10.8)

But I understand fresh installs after updating will not work.

Maybe they should add a field for 'new app installations'
