It does work with Mountain Lion, you just need to make sure to Allow Applications Downloaded from Anywhere in System Preferences > Security as seen in http://www.macworld.com/article/1167862/up_close_with_mountain_lion_security.html

If you need to migrate your data from a previous version of Mac OS X, the files/folders are found in:

~/Library/Application Support/Webnote/
~/Library/Preferences/com.happyapps.Webnote.plist
