This updater won't update the european version of the game. It's greyed out, and I can't choose it to update.
Some problems in 10.8
Works fine in 10.7
I'm putting the finishing touches on the all-new RoaringApps, with support for Mavericks & iOS 7.
Try it out now and help me squash some bugs.

Can not be installed from CD. However if it is installed already with the latest patches on another system such as 10.6, then simply copy and the paste the application file into 10.7. Seems to run fine on 10.7 this way.

There are two ways I know for a fact will allow AOM to work on Lion.
If you had it installed on SL and you upgrade from SL to Lion, it will work.
If you clean install or bought a computer with Lion, you need to create a small SL partition (30GB should be enough). Boot up in SL, run the AOM installation. When it asks where you want to install the game, change the location to the Lion Applications folder. It will install as per normal. You can download the 2.0 update and install from SL and the 2.0.1 update can be run in SL or Lion, all cases, just locate the AOM app in the Lion Application folder.
It would appear Rosetta is something to do with installing these this app, nothing to do with running them.

IhopeIhopeIhope …. version 1.x was a powerpc app so I hunted down 2.0.1 to get the universal version ….. yes, I love this game that much that lion would be a nogo if it would not work on it

It works in Snow Leopard, But Lion doesn't support AOM.
Perhapse , That reason is Rosetta Stone.

Aren't there third party powerpc emulators that will allow this thing to work on Lion?
This pisses me off. I love AOM!!!

Doesn't install under Lion, but the 2.0.1 update works great under Lion (like some other games e.g. UT2004, Warcraft 3, American McGee's Alice, etc.).
[ Matthew]MatthewAnonymous 07 Jan 2012 04:15
maybe I should't put Alice down as an example as I know some people have problems with playing it under Lion but I haven't
