Actually seems faster under Lion but I haven't run FPS to see if there really is a difference.

Just upgraded to Mountain Lion. Both multi-player and single player are now no longer full-screen. Not sure if it's a setting that was changed or what.

Just a heads up that seta r_fullscreen "1" is in my config.cfg file, so that isn't the issue.

Isn't "Works fine in 10.8" kind of misleading if the fullscreen mode isn't working?
I havn't tried myself yet…

I'm having the same issue. COD4 is no longer full screen - black bars on both sides.

Hi All,

In order to resolve this, the resolution needs to be a wide angle resolution, such as 1024x768. This will eliminate the bars on the side. Previously, it did this for you, but because Mountain Lion has dual monitor support now, it changed this and requires you to manually set it.

All set and the annoying black bars are removed!

Works fine for me!
I already have a widescreen res on my 27" iMac so that might be why I dont see this issue :)

I noticed the same thing with the resolution needing to be changed, worked for me.

One thing that I keep getting hit with though is if I get killed early and I command tab to switch to another app while others are still playing COD4 crashes frequently. Not every time but almost half the time. Anyone else?

I also noticed that the graphics seem to be smoother, maybe that's because I should of had a better resolution set before or Mountain Lion is handling it better.

It works perfectly for me. I have a 15" 2011 mbp.

Is anyone having sound issues running this in Lion 10.7.5?

The theme music plays fine on the menu and server screens and the cut-scene audio works, but once I get into a campaign or multiplayer map, there are no sound effects (bullets, vehicles, NPC voices, etc.).

Aspyr is currently looking into this for me, but I would appreciate any help or suggestions from the community. Thanks!
