Huh… this works on my Mac as well. Not seeing any issues. I'm on an iMac, 2007 model.

While it installs fine, and the settings app works fine, the actual menubar icons don't - if you switch one "on" (e.g. CPU), it switches straight back off! :(
I'm on a fresh install of Lion, it may be different if upgraded…

Hi,
It will only work if you install in Snow Leopard and execute it in it before installing Lion. If you do a clean install of Lion it will not work.
Hope it is fixed soon.

So, it works :)
Install iStat Menus. If it is not working, install MenuMeters.
Reboot and start one of them, whichever works. Alternate between them, until one works (they are based on MenuCracker).
Then keep the one you like and hide the menubar icons of the other one.
Job done :)

87racer’s approach worked for me, though one of the ones listed above did.
The obvious problem is that the “iStat Menus” *application* (the configuration panel) fails to modify the SystemUIServer plist under Lion. If the entries are already there from Snow Leopard, it works fine.
A quick fix, easier for most of you than modifying the plist, is to copy the plist from one of your other Macs with iStat Menus (or from a Time Machine backup.) The plist is located at `~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systemuiserver.plist`.
If you have no access to another Mac or Time Machine backup with iStat Menus installed, it’s simple enough to modify it by hand. If you have the Developer Tools installed, then just edit the file with the Property List Editor.app that ships with those tools. If not, you can use the `plutil` command-line utility to convert the binary property to XML format, and then add the entries manually with `nano` or `vim`.

I'm running v2 (build200) on a system I just chose to Upgrade for testing before doing a clean install. seems to work fine.
