The installer (2.1.1) doesn't work on Mountain Lion by default, you need to allow applications downloaded from "Anywhere" in the "Security & Privacy" (General) preference pane.
Works fine in 10.8
Works fine in 10.7

I have tested Lion and I am not very happy with it. I have reverted my computers back to 10.6.8 because of Lion not working well with some of my Apps. I would give Lion a couple of months before installing it.
