History:
Essentially speed-bumped Early 2009 models, the Late 2009 Mac minis packed larger hard drives and beefier processors into the same 6" x 6" x 2" cuboid that had come to define the Mac mini.
However, in a bid to attract hobbyists from all walks of life, Apple, for the first time in the mini's brief history, began offering server-centric setups with dual hard disks, albeit at the expense of the inbuilt SuperDrive. These were also preinstalled with Snow Leopard Server in place of the standard variant.
